We’re thrilled to have won a prestigious industry award for our innovative packaging and design work for client Powters Sausages.
The ‘Design Strategy’ award was presented at the annual Drum marketing awards ceremony, with the judges describing it as “a well put together entry that had excellent packaging design.”
Our team worked closely with Powters to develop the exciting new packaging, which uses a clean and cohesive design, with a strong use of colour, and clear communication of the premium nature of the product. The design blends the contradictory concepts of the traditional butcher’s chalk board, with innovation, whilst retaining recognisable elements of the brand for Powters’ established markets.
The new unique design also allows customers to see the product via a cut-out in the shape of a pig, helping to show the freshness of the product, as well as being a nod to the original source. Each flavour is represented by a different colour, specifically designed to sit along side each other on the shelf.

The Drum Marketing Awards are designed to reward and celebrate agencies and clients who are excelling and producing excellent marketing strategies. Receiving the award is recognition of the calibre of talent we have as an agency and the consistent quality of work we deliver for our clients both big and small.
The awards have now been running for five years and this year’s ceremony took place on the 12th May at the Ramada Jarvis Picadilly, Manchester.
