A print and broadcast campaign entitled ‘Glorious shopping’, developed by us for Peterborough Garden Park has contributed to a 50% increase in footfall at the Park.
Since the Park opened at the beginning of the year, despite offering an unrivalled retail experience and a gorgeous garden location, continual heavy road works in the area and lack of awareness of the Park’s offering have hampered visitor numbers.
As a result Peterborough Garden Park called us in to develop a campaign that would help to increase the number of shoppers attracted by the Park, while promoting and raising awareness of its high-end shopping experience.
Working closely with Peterborough Garden Park, we developed the ‘Glorious shopping’ brand proposition, which we combined with beautiful imagery to provide a series of print and broadcast adverts that are a true reflection of the lifestyle brands available at the Park.
Commenting on the campaign, Kay Davis, senior account director at WAR, said: “The ‘Glorious shopping’ campaign demonstrates what can be achieved by investing in an integrated approach to communications and WAR are delighted to be working to deliver outcomes for Peterborough Garden Park with this particular project.”
Gordon Edington, Chairman of Peterborough Garden Park, said: “We are pleased with how well the ‘Glorious shopping’ campaign has been received, further establishing Peterborough Garden Park as a year round retail destination for the East Midlands and East Anglia.”
Situated on the outskirts of Peterborough, the Garden Park provides visitors with a lifestyle shopping experience that is centred around upmarket and affordable garden centre Van Hage and other top retailers including Le Creuset, Cotswolds Outdoors, Past Times, Bedeck and Hobbycraft.
